After centuries of lying in the shadow, Umbria now blossoms in it's own right and is renowned for the beautiful greenery, it has in fact been christened the "Green heart of Italy villas". Umbria is one of Italy's smallest regions, it sits quietly east of it's more illustrious neighbour Tuscany of which Umbria is most certainly not green with envy.

Umbria has much more to offer than hilltop towns, rolling hills and breathtaking views. There are many fascinating places to be discovered in Umbria from the tiny hamlets to the larger towns such as Assisi, the mystic city of St.Francis. Spoleto, renowned for it's music festival, Orvieto, famous for its Cathedral masterpiece of medieval architecture and Lake Trasimeno one of the largest lakes in Italy villas, with a magnificent backdrop of the surrounding hills and the glittery blue lake, sandy beaches, water sports and ferries to the tiny islands.
